I’m over 130 hours into New Horizons, my first ever Animal Crossing game, and it’s safe to say I’m a little obsessed. I wanted to share my daily checklist since I’ve found it helpful in making sure I don’t miss out on anything I want to do each day.
As a longtime Pokémon enthusiast, I had mixed feelings about the newest releases Sword and Shield when I started playing them. The game certainly looked beautiful, and I loved the new Pokémon designs, but like so many I was quite disappointed by the news of Dexit. In the end, I loved this game and feel that Sword has taken the franchise in an awesome direction.
I hit a pretty big milestone in my gaming collection recently - a full set of Pokémon core series games! I was missing the original Gameboy version of Gold and when my brother heard that it was the only one I didn’t have, he generously gifted me his childhood copy so I could have the full set.
When Super Mario Maker 2 came out, I decided to pick it up right away despite my huge backlog. It was a great decision - like most first-party Switch titles, the game is an absolute blast to play, although it does suffer a little from Nintendo’s frustrating decisions regarding online play.
As a lifelong Pokémon player, I was initially wary of the changes in the Pokémon Let’s Go games. I was pleasantly surprised to enjoy a beautiful nostalgia trip through Kanto - albeit with a few caveats.
One of the reasons I love the Nintendo Switch so much is that it’s so much easier for me to find time to play it! I’ve been spending a lot of time on long plane rides lately, so I thought I’d share some of my favorite accessories for traveling with my Switch.
